He emphasises the importance of hard work and continuous effort, which, according to him, leads to perfection and progress.

Tagore uses symbolic images like a “clear stream of reason” to show the importance of rational thinking, which must not be lost in old customs and rigid traditions. He contrasts this with “dreary desert sand of dead habit,” suggesting that blind traditions must not limit growth. In the c oncluding lines, he prays to God to guide his country towards broad-minded thought, action, and true freedom. The poem ends with a heartfelt wish that India may awaken into a “heaven of freedom,” where every mind blooms with wisdom and courage.
